Other Features And Instructions:

Active Stability System Self Check: When you turn on Rover, it will go through a self check of it’s active stability system during start up. Do not step onto Rover until you hear it beep on. Smoothly step one foot on, immediately followed by the other foot. There are sensors under the pedals that will sense your weight and activate Rover. Pushing the bar forward (leaning forward) makes Rover go forward and pulling the bar back (leaning back) slows, stops, and puts Rover into reverse. Rover is equipped with back-up lights and emits a beeping noise when backing up.

Power Button And Remote Control: The power button between the pedals turns Rover on/off. Hold the power button down for 2 seconds to turn Rover off. Rover also has a 10 minute auto shutoff timer.

Lights: Rover has 36 low-draw LED safety lights in the post that blink and pulse as you ride it. There are 4 red turn signal lights (2 in the front and 2 in the back) that activate when you turn. There are 2 white headlights on the front, and 4 red LED lights on the back that activate when you back up. There is also a “beep” that is emitted when going backwards. The first press of the power button turn Rover on. The second press will turn on only the headlights.  The third press will turn on all lights. Pressing the power button a fourth time will turn all lights off.

Rider Display: Rover has a 4″ (10cm) backlit screen that displays speed, trip distance, air temperature, and battery condition.

Portability: Rover’s post is easily removable in just seconds, without any tools. Just unscrew the plastic knob at the base of the post and slide the post up to remove. Be careful when reinstalling the post so you don’t damage the electrical connectors inside the post.

Kickstand: Rover has a kick stand in the front that folds up when being ridden. Make sure to fold the kickstand out of the way before riding Rover!

Low Battery Warning Sound: Rover will emit a beeping noise when Rover is very low on battery (charge immediately).

Lipo Charger: Rover’s “balance” charger automatically tops off all 17 cells evenly each time which extends battery life and Rover’s range. The charger accepts 100-240VAC and works all over the world. First, plug the charger into the wall socket. When plugging the charger cord into Rover, make sure to align the prongs carefully- the charger will only go in one way. The charger should plug in easily. If it feels like you have to force it, then you probably are plugging in the charger incorrectly. Don’t forcefully jam the cord into Rover! The charger has LED lights- red means it’s charging and green means charging is complete. To preserve Rover’s battery, always charge Rover until fully charged. Rover’s battery charger will automatically stop charging once the green LED comes on and the battery is full.

Regenerative Braking: Rover uses the newest Regenerative Braking Technology available. When you slow down or go down hill (any kind of braking action), Rover reverses the electric motors and turns them into generators which puts power back into the battery.

Sensors: Rover uses an army of sensors to constantly monitor it’s speed, balance, position, and input from your feet. It has a 3-axis gyroscopic sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, and temperature sensor. All of this data is filtered through a Digital Motion Processor that uses your body weight and momentum to keep you balanced at all times.

Water Resistance: Rover is protected from dust and small splashes of water. Rover should not be ridden while raining or through loose dirt, puddles, or standing water. Take care of your Rover and it will take care of you!
